１周年記念 A Year Mark

9月10日で、わたしと同僚が教会の管理本部で仕事を始めてから早くも１年になりました！ほんと早い！！課長が翻訳課のみんなにアイスを買ってきてくれました。今ちょうど総大会の原稿がばんばん来ていて忙しいです。全力を尽くしてがんばらなくちゃ～。

Me and one of my co-workers hit a year mark since we started working at the church administration office. whew, time flies! Our supervisor bought us (everybody in translation department) ice candy bars. Right now, we are working on translation of general conference talks, so we are super busy. I'll do my best.

シアトル Seattle

９月１１日から１５日までシアトルに行ってきました。BYUのときのルームメイトの結婚式に出席するためです。同じアパートに住んでいた別の友達もハリウッドから結婚式に来て、久しぶりに会ってシアトル観光を一緒にすることができたし、新しい友達もできたし、とても楽しかった～！短い旅だったけれど、とても価値のあるものとなりました。アメリカ大好き☆

I went to Seattle from 9/11 to 9/15. I went there for a wedding of my old roommate from BYU.　Another friend of mine flew from Hollywood to attend the wedding, so we were able to hang out and go do some sightseeing in Seattle and stuff. I also made some new friends there. I really had a great time! It was such a short trip, but was way worth it. I love the U.S.! :)

武田姉妹と With Sister Takeda

今日は以前に沼津支部で伝道した大好きな武田姉妹が水戸から東京神殿に訪問していたので、お昼に一緒にランチをしにいきました。広尾の私の職場の近くの定食やさんに行ったけれど、まわりの人たちがたくさんたばこ吸っていて、そのにおいがひどくて息するのも大変でした。また来るときは別のところ行こうね～！武田姉妹、次の訪問を待ってま～す！

My dear Sister Takeda who served in Numazu branch was visiting Tokyo Temple today from Mito, so we went out for lunch. We went to a Japanese restaurant near my work, but people around us were smoking and it was hard to breathe. We'll try another place next time! I'll be waiting for you to come visit again, sister Takeda!

さよなら～！！ Good bye!!

日曜日に支部のみんなで写真を撮りました。これなかった人もたくさんいてみんなじゃないけど。。。宮下ひろみちゃんが札幌に行ってしまうので最後の日曜日だったのと、べー姉妹が伝道を終えるので最後の日曜日だったので撮ったのだけど、実は沼津から姉妹宣教師がいなくなることになってしまった～！！名古屋伝道部の宣教師の数が減っていて宣教師がいなくなってしまったところもあるし、しょうがないけど、さみし～！

Since last Sunday was the last Sunday (tricky) for Hiromi and sister Ve'e to attend Numazu branch, we had some pictures taken together. Hiromi got her job in Sapporo as a CES secretary and Sister Ve'e is ending her mission. So, the pictures were for them, but later we found out that we were losing sister missionaries at all! The number of the missionaries in Nagoya mission has been going down and it's understandable, but still, it's way sad!
