ゴルフの練習 Golf Practice

月曜日の家庭の夕べの活動でゴルフの打ちっぱなしをしました。なかなかボールがクラブに当たらない！！

We practice golf for the FHE activity on Monday night. It was hard to hit the ball with the club!

アボカドクリームパスタ Avocado Cream Pasta

先週夕飯にアボカドクリームパスタを作りました。カルボナーラを作ろうと思っていたけれど，めんどくさかったのでこっちにしました。まあまあの味だったかな。わたし自身があまりアボカド食べないから，もう作らないかな～。

I cooked avocado cream pasta for dinner last week. I was thinking of cooking carbonara, but it seemed a lot harder, so I chose this instead. It turned out ok. I'm not a big fan of avocados, so I might not cook this pasta again.

新しい友達 New Friends

めちゃめちゃ久しぶりの更新です。日本に帰省してから忙しくてブログは後回しになってしまっていました。2週間前にボイシに戻ってきてしばらく時差ぼけで苦労したけれど，なんとかウィリアムもわたしもアメリカ時間に戻ったかな。

昨日はメリディアンと言う隣の町に住む新しい日本人のお友達の家に遊びに行ってきました。彼女の旦那さんのお仕事の転勤で6月からこちらに来ているそうです。出身が隣の町で近いこともあって身近に感じます。かわいい3歳の息子さんと10か月の娘さんがいます。

3時間くらいお昼ごはんをごちそうになりながらお邪魔して，楽しい時間を過ごしました。

It's been a long time since I updated my blog last time. I got busy when I got to Japan and totally procrastinated to update. I came back to Boise 2 weeks ago. Both William and I had jet lag big time, but we are now over it.

Yesterday, we visited our new Japanese friend in Meridian (next to Boise). She has been in the US since June due to her husband's job. They are from close to where I'm from, so I feel close to her. They have cute 3 years old boy and 10 months old girl.

We had lunch (my friend cooked for us) and talked, and had a great 3 hours together.
