今日はクリスマス用のお菓子を作ろうと張り切って，ファッジとタフィーを作ったら，なんと！両方とも大失敗！超頑張ったのに超失敗して超がっかり～😞
I tried to make some fudge and toffee, and guess what?! I totally failed!
こっちがファッジの大失敗作。見たからにまずそう。全然固まらず。煮詰め方が足りなかったようす。
This is the fudge. It looks terrible, doesn't it? It didn't set either. I guess I didn't cook long enough.
こっちがトフィーバタークランチの大失敗作。こっちはおいしそうに見えるけど，見えてないトフィーの部分が最悪。じゃりじゃり砂糖を食べてる感じ。完全に煮詰めすぎ。
This is the toffee. It looks great, but the toffee part tasted like pure sugar, or Hershey's product...you know.
夜リベンジでトフィーだけ作り直しました。それがこっち。

そしたら今度はトフィーの部分が緩すぎてちゃんと固まってなくてキャラメルみたいになってる～💦もうトフィーはあきらめた。。。ファッジはもう一度挑戦してみるかも。
This time, I didn't cook long enough apparently, and the toffee isn't crunchy but chewy like caramel.
ところで，今日は日本の両親から荷物が届きました。毎年ウィリアムの誕生日やクリスマスにいろいろ送ってくれます。どうもありがとう❣
