ブライアンの誕生日 Brian's Birthday

今日はブライアンの誕生日でした。🎈🍰🎁🎉
It was Brian's Birthday today.


ウィリアムが部屋の飾り付けをしたくて朝からやろうやろうというので，いろいろやりました。
William couldn't wait to decorate the house, so that's what we did today.

ウィリアムが一つ一つの星にHappy Birthday!，ハートにはI love you!と書きました。

あちこちにある風船見えるかな？一つ一つに顔やら文字やら書いてあります。

ふくらます前はミッキーの形だったのにふくらましたら🐷に。。。

これはウィリアムが描きました。まん丸のダリンだそうです。

わたしたちが飾り付けをしている間，ダリン君は。。。このとおり。
While we were decorating the house, Dallin was sound asleep.

誕生日の夕飯はハンバーグ。乳幼児いると何も予定どおりに行かない！ブライアンが帰ってきたときにまだ全然作り終えてなくてバタバタしてました。でもなんとかできてよかったよほんとに。それからウィリアムが初めてハンバーグを食べた！（500円玉くらいの超ミニサイズだけどそれでも進歩）
The birthday dinner was hamburger steak. I wasn't done cooking at all when Brian got home, and it's the baby's fault. Nothing goes as you planned with a newborn baby! Glad I could at least cook dinner. Oh, for the first time William ate the hamburger steak! It was only the size of a quarter, but it's a progress!

食事の後は，「家庭の夕べ」をやりながら，活動としてブライアンの誕生会をやりました。
After dinner, we had Family Home Evening, and for the activity, we celebrated Brian's birthday.

まずプレゼント。
First we gave him presents.

それから誕生日の歌を歌ってケーキならぬチェリーパイ（お店のです）を食べました。ウィリアムはチェリーパイ食べないので昨日ブライアントの家族とやった誕生会でもらったチョコケーキを食べました。
Then we sang (I was the only one singing) the birthday song, and had some cherry pie. William doesn't eat cherry pie, so he had a leftover chocolate cake we got from last night's dinner with Brian's family.

わたしたちがお祝いしている間，例のまんまるダリン君は，またもちろんお休みになられてました（笑）明日少し早めの2か月検診があります。どんだけデブになってるかな。
While we were celebrating, our chunky Dallin was of course sleeping again. He has a 2 month check up appointment tomorrow, so we'll see how much he has grown...

起きてるときもあります。ほら。寝てるときは韓国人，起きるとメキシコ人に大変身で笑える。
There are times he is awake too. He looks like Korean when he is asleep, and as soon as he is awake, he turns into Mexican! I love it.
