寿司 Sushi

今日は弟の誕生日で、というのと、最近ナス（ボーナス）が入ったので家族にご馳走する約束になっていたので、近くの魚がし寿司で注文して食べました。とってもおいしかった～、さすが魚がし！お寿司やさんは、10膳割り箸を持ってきてくれてあったけど、実は食べたのはたったの4人（笑）内田家食べすぎ～！今まだみんな食べ過ぎて苦しい苦しい言ってる。3時間もたったのに。しかもヤバイ、臨月っぽい（苦笑）。

It was my younger brother's birthday. That wasn't exactly the reason we had sushi, but recently I got bonus and had promised that I would take my family out for dinner or somthing, so we decided to order Sushi from a pretty famous Sushi place near my house. It was so delicious! Different from cheap Sushi. The person who delivered the food gave us 10 chopsticks (half split one), but there were actually only 4 of us! lol My family eats a lot! It's been three hours since we had dinner, but we are all full still. And I look like 9 months pregnant!

BLESS 4

今日は教会員の歌手グループ、BLESS 4が沼津支部のオープンハウスのために来てくれて、ミニコンサートがありました。彼らの経験や歌を聴いてとても感動しました～！とてもよかった！！完璧ファンになった！！

BLESS 4 came to Numazu branch today for the branch open house. Their stories and songs were so very good. I was so touched! I totally became fan of them!

伝道に出る友達 My Friend Leaving for her Mission

同じ沼津支部に集っている友達が明日ProvoのMTCに向けて出発します。日本人にはまれな、ミズーリ州インディペンデンス伝道部で伝道します。これから一年半頑張ってきてほしいです！

A friend of mine in the same branch is leaving tomorrow for MTC in Provo. She will be serving in Independence, Missouri Mission which is not a common place for Japanese people to serve. I pray she will do well for a year and a half!

わたしのブルーベリー My Blueberries

今年はブルーベリーを植えて3年目になります。1年目は22粒くらい、去年はたったの1粒しか実がならなかったけれど、今年はなんと30以上もの実がなっています。昨日すでに9個を収穫しました。もうちょっと待ってようかと思ったけれど、鳥に食べられてしまいそうで。甘酸っぱくてとてもおいしかったです。去年はたったの1粒で味も何もなかったけれど、ことしはたくさんの実をおいしく食べれてとても嬉しい！

This is the third year since I planted my blueberry tree. I got about 22 blueberries for the first year, only got 1 last year, but it seems like I can have more than 30 this year. I already took 9 of them off the tree yesterday. I could have waited a little longer, but I was worried that some birds might eat them all. The blueberries were so yummy! I remember I only had one last year, so I couldn't really taste anything, but I'm so glad I can eat many of them this year!!

今日は管理本部の遠足でした。全職員の半分が今日で残りの半分は来週ということになっています。管理本部からバスに乗って横浜方面へ向い、海ほたる（休憩所）、横浜ロイヤルパークホテル『シリウス』でのランチバイキング（70階で！）、横浜八景島シーパラダイスと一日楽しく過ごしました。先週は妹の結婚式の披露宴でものすごい食べ、今日はランチバイキングでものすごい食べ、まじ苦しい。貧乏性は困ります。八景島では海洋動物たちにとても癒されました。

It was an office outing day. Half of the church office employees went today and the other half will go next week. We rode on a bus from the church office, and drove towards Yokohama area. On the way to Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise (aquarium), we stopped at Umihotaru (parking area with many shopps and stuff) and went to Yokohama Royal Park Hotel for lunch buffet (on the 70th floor!). Man, I had so much food just like I did on my sister's wedding reception last week! When I see food, I can't help it. The aquarium was awesome. The sea animals were so fun and soothing.

妹の結婚式 My Sister's Wedding

5月16日はわたしの妹の結婚式でした。すでに2月に入籍していたけれど式は妹が仕事をやめてからということで後になりました。とてもきれいで幸せそうなお嫁さんでした。

My sister and her husband had their wedding reception on the 16th. They got married back in February, but waited to have the celemony and reception until after my sister quit her job. She looked so happy and beautiful .

今年は突然決めて、またアメリカ旅行に行ってきました。日本の生活にすっかり慣れてしまって、アメリカのすべての物のサイズの大きさにあらためてビックリしました。今回は10日間の旅で短かくて、すべての友達にあるのは難しかったけれど、時間をとって会ってくれた友達ありがとう！会えなかった友達ごめんなさい！でもまた必ず行くよ！！

I just came back from the U.S. trip which I decided a week before I left Japan. I'm so used to living in Japan and had forgotten how big everything was in the States!! This time, I only had 10 days to spend, and there wasn't enough time to see everybody, but I'm grateful for my friends who took their time to see me. To those I didn't get to see you, I'm sorry, but I will come again!!
