今日ずっと作ろうと思っていた座布団を仕上げました。2つ作って，一枚目のは厚めのやつだけど超～すわり心地が悪くて（笑），二枚目のは薄いけどもっと座りやすかったです。どちらも微妙で普通にカーペットの上に座った方がまし？と思っちゃうような感じ。。。

I finally finished floor cushions. I made two of them. The first one was thicker but very uncomfortable to sit on, and the second one was thin but it was better to sit on. Neither one turned out that great and I almost feel like it's better to just sit on the floor without them. lol

パン大好き♪ Loving Bread!

ホームベーカリーのパンを嫌がって食べようとしなかったウィリアムが，数日前から突然食べ出しました。どうやらおいしいって分かったみたいでものすごい量のパンを食べます。毎食毎日ほとんどパンばかり。しかもバターと一緒に。「バター？バター？ない？」とせかされます。ホームベーカリーが届いて11日，すでに12回も焼きました。高い買い物だと思ったけれど，すでにもと取れた気分。

William all the sudden decided that he loves the bread made with my new bread machine. Now that's pretty much all he eats all day every day and I (well, the bread machine to be exact) have to bake bread at least once a day. I have already baked 12 times in the last 11 days. I guess it was worth paying a lot of money for the machine.

もう日付が変わってしまった。。。これは14日分の投稿記事です。

ウィリアムの髪がボウボウになってきていたので切りました。ずっと切らせてもらえずにいましたが，今日はなぜか切らせてくれたのでガッツリいきました。相変わらず出来栄えはいまいちですが，2歳児の散髪にしては上出来でしょう。

This is a post for the 14th. I should update my blog earlier in the day.

I cut William's hair today. His hair was getting too long, but he didn't let me cut his hair for a long time. Somehow he let me today, so I just started chopping it. It's not the best haircut, but it's good enough for a two-year-old.

書初めパート2 Kakizome #2

ウィリアムの書初め。昨晩の家庭の夕べは，ウィリアム疲れていてレッスン後に寝てしまったので，今日ウィリアムだけやりました。というかペンを持たせて一緒に書いただけだけどね。トーマスが好きだからトーマスってことで。

William's first calligraphy writing of the New Year. It says "Thomas"(William loves Thomas the tank engine). He didn't get to do it last night at FHE because he was tired and went to bed after the lesson, so we did it today. We just used a pen though. Of course, I helped him. :)

ところで今晩の夕飯はレッドタイカレー。久しぶり。おいしくて大好き♪

By the way, we had some red Thai curry for dinner tonight. It had been a while. I love it.

書初め Kakizome

今晩「家庭の夕べ」の活動で書初めをしました。ブライアンは中国語で「運動」と書いたそうです。エクササイズを頑張るってことみたいけど，どうなるかな（笑）

We did Kakizome (the first calligraphy writing of the New Year) for the FHE activity tonight. Brian wrote "Exercise" in Chinese. We'll see if he will really work out this year. lol

おしるこ Red Bean Soup

これは昨日の新年会のために作ったおしるこ。でもみんなご飯食べてお腹いっぱいになってしまい，後から出そうと思って結局出さずにおわってしまった。だから今日ブライアンと食べました。白玉と一緒に食べておいしかった～♪

This is a picture of Red Bean soup I didn't get to serve at yesterday's New Year Party. Everyone was full after they had a meal, so I was going to serve it later, but ended up forgetting about it. So, Brian and I had some this afternoon with Shiratama. It was yummy!

義理の妹のコリー（ブライアンの妹，ウィリアムの伯母）がミニオンの帽子を編んでくれました。クリスマスプレゼントですが今日もらいました。ウィリアム気に入った様子。

My sister-in-law, Cori (Brian's younger sister, William's aunt) crocheted this Minion hat for William. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift but he got it today. He loved it. :)
