今晩（7月19日）はブライアンの家族たちと集まって，ウィリアムのいとこのエジソン君の3歳の誕生日をお祝いしました。エジソン君の好きな食べ物ということで，メニューは「串刺しにして食べれるもの」でした（笑）竹串にパンやチーズ，ソーセージ，ハム，野菜，果物を刺してお腹いっぱい食べました。一口サイズだからパクパク食べてしまい，気づいたときには超お腹いっぱいでした。後でケーキを食べたときにはもうかなり食べ過ぎの域まで来てました。ミニオンの手作りケーキ（エジソン君の家族が作りました）かわいいでしょ♪子供たち一人一つずつケーキの上に乗っていたミニオンを後でもらって，ウィリアムも一つもらって喜んでました。ミニオンを枕元に置いて寝ました（笑）
We celebrated Edison's 3rd birthday this evening(7/19) with family. The menu for the dinner was what Edison would like to eat which was food that could be skewered. We put whatever food you wanted - bread cheese, sausages, ham, veggies, fruits - on bamboo sticks and that was our dinner. All the food was cut into bite size pieces and easy to keep popping into your mouth, and next thing you know, you are too full! By the time we had cake, I was way too full. The minions cake was made by Eddie's family. Isn't it so cute? Little kids got one minion each. William was happy that he got one and went to bed with it.
夕飯に行く前に，リハビリセンターに入院中のブライアンのおばあちゃんに会いに行きました。少しずつだけど回復しているようです。車いすからも一人で立ち上がることができました。
Before we went to dinner, we stopped by at a rehab center where Brian's grandma has been in. She seems doing better. She could even stand up from the wheelchair by herself.
なんだか時間さかのぼってますが（苦笑），ブライアンのおばあちゃんに会いに行く前に，同じ教会に集っているジョン・ケリー兄弟の家に行きました。なんでもウィリアムの少し早い誕生日プレゼントがあるということで取りに行ってきたのですが，なんとこんなに大きなおもちゃの建設車両のセットをもらいました。ウィリアムは家に戻ってすぐに遊び始めました。まさに今ウィリアムが大好きなものの一つです。これまでもおもちゃのミニカーや，トラック，ラジコンカーなどをプレゼントしてくれて，申し訳ないほどもらっちゃってます。感謝感謝。
OK, I'm doing this backward, but before we left to visit Brian's grandma, we went to one of the church members' house nearby. He wanted us to come get William's early birthday gift. It was a set of 4 construction vehicles and that's like one of William's favorite things in the world right now. This brother has given William so many things before and we are grateful for his love and kindness he has for William.
