今朝は教会の「開拓者の日」（昨日）をお祝いするためのワードの活動（朝食に子供たちのパレード）が，ある教会員のお宅の庭でありました。開拓者の衣装を着てきていた人もけっこういました。衣装を着た人たちがパレードして，衣装のコンテストもありました。ウィリアムは全然関係なく，活動が行われた家の庭にあった木の家で遊んでました。

We had a ward activity to celebrate Pioneer Day this morning at a member's backyard which is huge! There were many who came in their costumes. The breakfast was served and those who had costumes walked in a parade and there was a costume contest. William wasn't interested in those things but playing in the tree house that was in the yard.

このでっかいチョコケーキをブライアンお持ち帰りしました！8ドルもする！！

Brian ordered the chocolate cake to take home. It was $8!!

午後からはブライアンの誕生日をお祝いするランチに行きました。Tucanosというお肉とサラダバー食べ放題のお店です。今日はあんまり調子がよくなかったのでそれほど食べれなかったです（といっても結構食べてるけど）。ウィリアムはまったく食べませんでした！ウィリアムの分は無料でよかった！

For lunch today, we went out to Tucanos to celebrate Brian's birthday. I wasn't feeling that great and couldn't eat as much as I would have liked (I was full though). William had nothing! Good thing his meal was free!

その後は，ウィリアムに「管制塔」を見せに連れて行ってあげると約束していたので，ボイシ空港まで行って，窓から管制塔や飛行機を見たり，空港のエスカレーターを乗り降りしたりして少し遊びました。30分ちょいいただけなのに駐車料金2ドルも取られた～！

After Tucanos, we went to Boise Airport. We had promised William that we would take him to show him the control tower (he is obsessed with it). We saw the control tower and some airplanes, ride on the escalators a few times, etc. We were only there for a little over 30 minutes but were charged $2 for the parking!
