ガーデンパーティー Garden Party

今晩教会の扶助協会のガーデンパーティーに行きました。うちのワードで毎年恒例の行事で，ディナーの後にメインイベントでオークションが行われます。質問用紙の質問に答えて得たポイントで，みんなが持ち寄ったいろんなもの（食べ物，手作りイヤリング，絵画，ピアノレッスン，庭の手入れなどの奉仕活動などなど）をせり落とします。わたしはウィリアムに動物の大きな本二冊をゲット。去年はステンドグラスの蝶々の飾りをもらってきました。それもウィリアムの部屋の窓に飾ってあります。これはほんとに楽しいイベントです♪

I went to our ward's R.S. annual garden party tonight. We bring whatever stuff you would like to bring to give (baking goods, handmade jewelry, drawings, piano lessons, service project, etc). You get points by answering like twenty questions and if you have done what the questions say, you get certain points. With the points you get, you can bid on items people brought. This year I got 2 huge animal books for William. Last year I got a stained glass butterfly. I gave that one to William too. Anyway, I look forward to this activity every year.
