教会のプログラムで家庭訪問というのがあります。もう一人の姉妹（女性の教会員）と，何人かの姉妹を毎月訪問して，話したり，困っていることがあれば助けたりします。5人担当していて，みんな結構近くに住んでいるので一気に5人訪問します。いつも仕事で家にいなかったり，自宅で託児所をしている人もいるので短い訪問だったり，メッセージを残してくるだけだったりもあるのですが，いつも2，3時間かかります。この写真の夫婦はとても大好きな二人。この姉妹を毎月訪問しています。二人には12人の子供がいるんです！いろんな話を聞いて勉強になります。旦那さんの方は昔軍隊に入っていて日本に住んでいたことがあるのであいさつ程度の日本語ができます。
I went to visiting teaching this afternoon. My companion and I have 5 Sisters to go visit. One is usually not home, working, and one has a daycare so, we can only talk for a short time, but it usually takes 2 to 3 hours. It's fun though. These people in the picture are one of my favorite people on earth! They are so nice and faithful and great example to everyone. They raised 12 children! I visit teach the wife, but the husband used to live in Japan when he was in military, so he can speak some Japanese. :) I love them!
これはもう一軒のお宅で。ウィリアムは，同僚のお孫さんのルーシーや，写真のワンちゃん（これまたルーシー）や，3羽のにわとり（見にくいですが良く見るといます）と遊べて楽しそうでした。でもすごく今日も暑かったです。
These pictures were taken at another sister's backyard. She has three chickens (all different kind) and a dog named Lucy. William loved seeing the chickens and playing with Lucy the dog and another Lucy who is a grand-daughter of my v.t. companion. It was super hot though.
