ビーズ Beads

春に日本に帰省したときに、小学校のときから集めていたビーズを持って帰ってきました。最近それでいろいろ作ったりしていて、今はまっているのはこれ。何かわかりません（笑）10センチもない小さなもので何の役にも立たないと思ったけれど、クリスマスツリーのオーナメントにいいかも♪結構かわいいでしょ。

As I visited Japan this last spring, I brought back all the beads I had collected since I was in elementary school. Lately I've been making these cuties. They are really small (about 3 inches) and I thought they wouldn't be any good, but they could be nice Christmas ornaments. What do you think?

今晩は夕飯にバーベキューチキンの予定だったのに、炭にうまく火が付かずに結局フライパンで調理することに。ブライアンは誕生日に新しくもらったグリルを初めて使うの楽しみにしてたので残念がってました。

We were supposed to have BBQ chicken tonight, but somehow the coal wouldn't heat up well. So we ended up just cooking the chicken on the stove. Brian was disappointed that he couldn't try the new grill he got for his birthday.
