ベーキング三昧 Baking All Day

今日はたくさんベーキングしました。朝はウィリアムの朝ごはん用にマフィンを作り。。。
I baked A LOT today. In the morning, I baked some muffins for William's breakfast.

午後は，夜宣教師がわが家に夕飯食べに来ることになっていたので，夕飯用のパンを作り（といってもホームベーカリーだけど）。。。
In the afternoon, I baked bread (well, bread machine did the work) for dinner. (We had missionaries over tonight.)

それから夕食のデザート用にチーズケーキを作ることにして。。。
Then, I decide to bake cheesecake for dessert. 

その後に，型を購入してからウィリアムに作ってほしいと頼まれていた抱っこクマのクッキーを焼き。。。
After that, I baked cute bear cookies William had been asking me to bake for weeks.

それが終わるころにはもう夕方で，夕飯のドリア作りにとりかかり。。。と，ずっと作っていた感じ。疲'れたけどどれもおいしくできてよかった♪
By the time I finished baking cookies, it was time to cook for dinner, so I baked Doria. It was a lot of work, but I was glad that everything turned out great. :)

ところで，宣教師の転勤が2日前にあったようで，新しい宣教師が来ました。両親がメキシコ人でアリゾナ出身の長老です。なんでも今ポルトガルに行くビザを待っているそう。とにかく初めて我が家に来たので恒例の納豆チャレンジをしました。お父さんがなぜか納豆が好きということで納豆の存在を知っていました。でもお父さんが自分の大好きな納豆だからと食べさせてもらったことがなかったようで，ようやく食べれると喜んでいました。でも実際食べてみたら，お父さんが何で納豆好きか分かんないって言ってました（苦笑）
 By the way, missionaries came over for dinner tonight. One was a new Elder from Arizona who is Mexican. He'll be here until he gets visa to go to Portugal. Anyways, since it was his first time at the O'Bannons, we made him try natto. He knew about natto because his father loved natto and would eat it at home, but he had never tried it before. He was excited to try it but after he tasted it, he just couldn't understand why his father loved it so much. lol
