今日はひな祭り。うちには女の子はいないけど，今晩教会の「活動の日」のためにひな祭りについて少し紹介する時間があって，お雛様を皆で作ったりする時間はなかったけれど，前もって作っておいた雛飾りをみんなにあげて，あと三色ゼリーならぬ2色ゼリーを作ったのと，あられを持って行きました。中にはひな祭りのことを少し知っていて，着物を着てきてくれた子もいてうれしかったです。
Today was Girl's Day. I don't have girls, but there was Activity Days tonight (the church activity for girls ages 8-11) and I was to introduce a little bit about Girl's Day. I made this paper decoration for them to display at home, and brought some jello mousse thing and rice crackers. The girls seemed to enjoy learning about it. One of the girls who knew a little about Girl's Day came in her kimono and that made me happy.
