クリスマスツリー Christmas Tree

今日は午前中クリスマスツリーを買ってきました🎄生木なのであんまり早く買うと針葉がカラカラになってしまうので，いつもこの頃に買ってきます。
We went to buy a Christmas tree this morning. We normally buy it around this time so that the needles don't get too dry before Christmas.

自分は午後に数時間出かける用事があったので，留守の間にブライアンとウィリアムが飾り付けしてくれました✨ウィリアムが飾りを下の方にまとめて付けちゃってくれてたので結構後で動かしましたが（笑）
I had to go out for a meeting for a few hours in the afternoon, so Brian and William decorated the tree while I was gone. William put most of the decorations towards the bottom, so I had to move many of them later, but they did a great job. :)


今年の木は葉がちょうど良い感じに広がっていてとても気に入っています。これでますますクリスマスらしくなってきました。
I like this tree. The shape is perfect (to me) and needles are spread evenly. Having a tree makes it so much more like Christmas.

ところで，夕べはウィリアムを義理の家族に見ててもらい，ブライアンと一緒にボイシ交響楽団のクリスマスポップコンサートに行ってきました。去年のクリスマスプレゼントにもらったボイシ交響楽団のコンサートに充てられる金券の有効期限が今月までだったので。今年途中から採用された新しい指揮者を迎え，クリスマスの曲の演奏を楽しんできました。小さい子もたくさん来ていたので，来年はウィリアムも一緒に連れて行きたいなと思いました。
By the way, while Brian's family took care of William, Brian and I went to a Boise Philharmonic Christmas pop concert last night. We had a cash voucher that had to be used by the end of the year, so basically we had no choice but to go to this one, but it was pretty awesome. They had a new conductor and performed many Christmas songs & carols which we really enjoyed. There were many kids in attendance, so next year may be we will take William with us.
