8/8 家族旅行 第1日目 Family Trip Day 1

8月8日（月）から11日（木）まで、ブライアンの両親ときょうだい家族みんなで、ボイシから2時間半ほどのところにあるMcCall（マッコール）に旅行に行ってきました。いろんな問題点はあったけれど、総合的に楽しい旅となりました。

We went on a trip to McCall (a resort town, 2 and 1/2 hours away from Boise) with Brian's parents and his siblings and their family from 8/8 to 8/11. There were some issues we encountered, but overall we had a great time.

当初朝9時出発の予定が10時に変更になり、わたしたち家族は結局11時近くにボイシを出発。でもブライアンの家族はそれから2時間ほど遅れて出発。午後から湖でボートに乗ったりして遊ぶ予定が、結局家族みんなが集まったのは夕方4時すぎ（ありえない～）。ブライアンの家族と何かをしようとすると時間通りに始まることはありません。。。

We were supposed to leave 9 am, then it was changed to 10, but ended up leaving around 11, but that's just us who left around 11. The rest of the family left like two hours later than us. We were going to go boating and play at the lake in the afternoon, but they didn't get to McCall until 4 pm ish.  I couldn't believe it. Nothing starts on time when we try to do something with Brian's family... But after they arrived, we had a great time playing/boating at the lake.

We had a picnic while waiting for everyone to arrive. We are having rice balls. :)

それから湖に足だけ入れて遊んでました。

Then, we had to wait more, so we played with water.

みんなが来てからは、わたしとブライアンは人生初のカヤックに挑戦。

After everyone came, Brian and I went kayaking for the first time in our lives.

その間子供たちは砂遊び。

Little kids played with the sand.

湖で6時まで遊んだあとはバーガー屋さんで夕飯。

We played at the lake until 6 pm and headed to dinner at a Burger place.

生玉ねぎが嫌なので調理してくれと頼んだら、生玉ねぎもついてきた（おいおい）

I asked for grilled onions instead of raw ones, then both were on my plate, ha ha.

とこんな感じの一日でした。

This was our first day. :)
