こいのぼり Carp Banners

今日ようやく子供の日の前日になってこいのぼりを出しました。去年使ったポールが見つからなくって，仕方なく庭の木からつるしました。でもこっちのがいいかも（笑）ウィリアムに両手上げてーって言ったら思い切って上げてくれてこの顔。（＾ｖ＾）/

So, I finally got Koinobori (carp banners) out the day before Children's Day (a Japanese holiday). I couldn't find the pole anywhere, so just hung them from a branch of the tree in our backyard. I actually liked how they looked. William raised both his hands as I asked him to do so and gave me a great smile. :)

ところで今晩家庭の夕べの活動として，ウィリアムの子供の日のお祝いを兼ねて（明日は教会の活動にわたしが行くのでできないため）デイリークイーンにアイスクリームを食べに行きました。でもせっかく行ったのにウィリアムは一口も食べず。疲れていたようで，お店を出るときに泣き叫びまくられました。お祝いどころじゃなかったです。ただ大人二人の腹を満たしただけ（苦笑）

In the evening, we went to Dairy Queen for the FHE activity to celebrate Children's Day with some ice cream, but William wouldn't eat any ice cream. He kept wanting to have some, but he wouldn't eat when I tried to give him some. He was just too tired and ready for bed. He screamed as we were leaving the place. What a great FHE we had!
