母の日 Happy Mother's Day!

今日は母の日でした。実家の母には先日オンラインでスイーツを注文してもうとっくに届いてとっくに食べちゃったみたいです（笑）

It was Mother's Day today. I ordered some sweets online for my mom, and she received the gift a few days ago and ate them all with my dad without waiting for Mother's Day. lol

わたしはブライアンとウィリアムからはゴディバのチョコレートとかぐや姫のDVDをもらいました。教会ではお花をもらいました。なぜかウィリアムは結構近所に住んでいてウィリアムのことを気に入ってくれている教会員の兄弟からおもちゃの車のセットをもらって大喜び。

Brian and William gave me some GODIVA chocolate and Princess Kaguya DVD (Japanese movie). At church, all the women over 18 received some flowers. Somehow, William got toy cars from a brother who seems to like William. He got so excited for them.

夕方からはいつものようにCaldwellまで行って家族の他のメンバーと集まって母の日の夕飯。わたしはパン2斤とオレンジケーキ，ピーカンパイを持って行きました。食べ過ぎて苦しい～！明日からまた運動しないと。。。

We went to Caldwell for the family dinner. I brought 2 loaves of bread, an orange cake, and a pecan pie. I ate too much at the dinner and still feel so full. I need to work out hard this week to burn off the calories!

ブライアンの妹のメイリーからかわいい花（造花だけどデコレーションとか手作り）をもらいました。義理の両親のスティーブとキャシーからは本をもらいました。いつも愛を示してくれて感謝してます。

Brian's sister, MeiLi gave me a flower in a cute jar she decorated, and my in-laws gave me a little book. I am grateful for their love.

自分の母親を含め，いろんな形でわたしを育ててくれた女性の方たち，また世界中で多くの人々の模範となっている女性たちに感謝します。それからウィリアムの母親でいられることにも感謝しています。

I'm grateful for all the women in the world, including my mom, who have set example to me and many others. I'm also grateful for the opportunity to be William's mother.

それから・・・・これはおまけですが，先日忘れていて植えた枝豆の種が母の日に芽を出しました♪これが一番うれしかったりして（笑）

And The Edamame bean I planted the other day began to sprout! It might have been the highlight of Mother's Day. lol
