時間つぶし Killing Time

毎日ウィリアムと１日何をしようかと悩みます。あと２か月も夏休み。。。長い！
Everyday, I have a hard time coming up with the ideas of things to do with William. Two more months of summer break. Too long!!


今日は午前中スーパーに週ごとの買い物へ行き、帰ってきてウィリアムの好きなテレビ番組を見てからまた別のお店に行ってミニ絵具セットとスタンプのインクパッドを買いました。そしてその足で近くのファーストフード店でフライドポテトを買っておうちでランチ。
We went to the weekly grocery shopping this morning. After we came home, William watched a TV program he loves (The cat in the hat). Then we headed out again to go to another store and got William some painting stuff and stamp pad. We stopped by at Carl's Jr. to get some fries for William and he (I had some too) had them for lunch at home.

午後からは買ってきたインクを使ってスタンプして、絵具でお絵かきをして（絵という絵ではないけど）時間をつぶしました。それでも１時間くらいで終了。
In the afternoon, we played with the stamp pads and painting stuff we got from the store. I was hoping to kill time, but it only lasted for an hour.

ということで今度はクッキーを作ることに。日本で買ってきたアンパンマンの型抜き（クッキー用じゃないんだけど）を使って一緒にクッキーを作りました♪これでなんとか夕方に。
Then I suggested we make cookies, so that's what we did. 

後は夕飯の支度もあったりしたので、クッキーを食べてもらいながらトーマスのDVDを観ててもらいました。
And finally it was almost time for me to cook dinner, so I had him eat the cookies and turned on Thomas DVD and made him watch while I cooked. 


そして夕飯は回鍋肉（ホイコーロー）。写真を撮ったのにデータが消えた！おいしかったとだけ言っておきます。
I cooked twice cooked pork for dinner (I didn't know the name in English, but this is what it said in the dictionary. lol). I took the picture, but the data is gone!! It was yummy though.

夕飯の後はウィリアムが水風船で遊びたいというので重い腰を上げていざ外へ。
After dinner, William wanted to play with water balloons, so that's what we did.

明日は土曜日でブライアンがいるので面倒半分見てもらえるのでうれしい～。ブライアンは週末が一番疲れるみたいです（苦笑）
I'm glad tomorrow is Saturday and Brian will be home to take care of William. He says he is more tired on the weekends. lol
