大雪の後 After the Snow Storm

昨日までの大雪は一応おさまりました。昨日はこの辺一帯の教会
は大雪と道路の状況が悪いためにお休みでした。そんなことはこれまで一度もなかったようです。
Snow storm is over. All the church meetings in the Valley were cancelled yesterday because of the snow and the bad road condition. I heard it has never happened before. 


ところで，雪はやんだけれど気温が上昇して今度は雨に変わり，これまで積もった大量の雪が解けて今度は洪水の被害が💦💦
Now the temperature is higher and instead of snow, we have had some rain. Quite a bit of snow has melted and that has caused floods. 


ブライアンの事務所の入っている建物の半分（幸いにもブライアンの事務所と反対側の半分）も屋根から水漏れして洪水被害を受けたようです。それからブライアンの事務所があるナンパ市の市役所も洪水被害に😨（下のリンク参照↓↓↓）
One side of the building Brian's firm is in got flooded too. Luckily, it was not the side his firm was in, so they didn't have any damages. Brian told me that Nampa (the city Brian's firm is) city hall got flooded too.

我が家は大丈夫だけれど，家の前が水浸し。明日は出かけなくてはならないけど車通れるかなあ～。明日と明後日またみぞれ混じりの雨が降る予報なのでまた水量が増えそうで心配💦それに解けた雪が凍ってすべりやすくなるからそれも危ないし。
Our house is okay, but there is a ton of snow melted water everywhere in the court (in front of our house). I have to go out tomorrow, but I wonder if our car can get through. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, so the water level will probably get higher. The road will be slick and hard to drive as well.


その前にこの間から喉やられてて鼻も詰まってちょっと苦しいです。ウィリアムも鼻水出たりせき込んでるからひどくならないといいけれど。新年早々こんなんだけど，こんなんだから今後は運気アップしかないと期待します。
By the way, I have been kind of sick with cough and stuffy nose. William has been having runny nose and cough as well. I hope he doesn't get worse. We definitely had a rough start this year, but it can only get better right? I hope so.
