大統領就任式 Inauguration

先週は毎晩ウィリアムを寝かしつけながら寝てしまったりしてブログをアップできませんでした。
Last week, I fell asleep as I put William to bed most of the night and couldn't update my blog.


先週起こった出来事の中でいちばん大きな出来事と言えば，アメリカ大統領就任式が20日にあり，ドナルド・トランプ大統領が45代目の大統領に就任しました。
The highlight of the week was of course inauguration of President Donald Trump, 45th President of the United States.


これまでの大統領就任式と比べて参加者数がかなり少なかったようですが，講義運動に集まった人たちの数はものすごく多かった様子（50万人とか）。就任時点で40パーセントの支持率しかない大統領って一体。これからどうなるか。。。
Compared to the previous inaugurations, there are much fewer people who attended. However, there were quite a few people (like 50,0000 people). What kind of President has only 40 percent approval rating at the time he becomes the President?! I wonder how he will do.


ほかにもいろいろあったけれど，あと二つだけ。昨日の夜ウィリアムの髪を切りました。ちょっと急いで切ったので不揃いだけど，一応さっぱり。
There were other things happened last week, but I'll talk about two more things. One is that I cut William's hair. yesterday I was trying to hurry so didn't do all that good, but he looks a lot better.

それから今日は，大量のクッキーを作りました。ピーナツバターオートミールチョコレートチップクッキー♪なかなかおいしかったです。
And I baked some cookies today. Peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They were yummy!
